What impact does your workout have on the world around you? Yours can help children in need at IHRSA 2017 this year in Los Angeles, California. SportsArt has teamed up with Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles to kick off the Watts for Wishes charity fundraiser. Every watt generated during IHRSA, the largest fitness tradeshow in North America, will equate to one dollar to Make-A-Wish.
This will be achieved through SportsArt’s ECO-POWR™ cardio products present at the booth, which convert the physical kinetic energy of users into utility-grade electricity. Watts for Wishes will help attendees understand how the technology works while simultaneously giving back to the world, which is what the company aims to achieve through the ECO-POWR™ line.
Those who visit SportsArt at Booth 1845 this March will be able to give even more to the Watts for Wishes campaign through social media. For every selfie posted to Twitter or Instagram that adheres to the following rules, SportsArt will donate an additional dollar to the campaign. These rules are:
- Take a selfie while using any of the SportsArt fitness equipment at IHRSA 2017
- Share the selfie to Twitter or Instagram using #WattsForWishes
- Tag @goSportsArt to make sure your photo is seen
Attendees of SportsArt’s sponsored session, Capturing Human Energy Can Increase Memberships & Profitability at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, March 8 will have an additional opportunity to contribute to the campaign. After the session they will receive an invitation to an upscale party hosted by SportsArt at the Target Terrace later that evening. Here they will be able to donate directly to Watts for Wishes and participate in an art auction, with all proceeds going towards the campaign.
