The pinnacle of the NFL football season, Super Bowl 51, has come and gone with the New England Patriots as the victors once again after an exciting match against the Atlanta Falcons. Now offseason has officially begun! But although it may be called “off,” but the boys are definitely not taking any kind of break.
Training in the offseason is just as important during this time as any other, if not more so. After all, the players from the Falcons and the Patriots didn’t get to this Super Bowl by sitting around drinking beer and watching basketball! Here are a few resources on what teams have done to get stronger than the year before, and great tips on how to stay in shape the way the pros do:

The NFL itself even offers up a list of five exercises to boost performance and other tips on stretching, drills and home workouts, where equipment isn’t necessary.

Although this NFLPA site doesn’t list specific things you can do to get buff, it is somewhat fascinating to see the actual “rules” of offseason…who knew?
