Fitness blogger and new mom Kelsey Wells wanted to lose weight after she gave birth to her son. In a new Instagram post, she reveals that didn’t happen — but something better did.
“I weighed 130 before getting pregnant, so based on nothing besides my own warped perception, I decided my ‘goal weigh’ should be 122 and to fit into my skinniest jeans,” Wells wrote in a post on Instagram. But after committing to a fitness regimen, Wells noticed she actually started to gain weight.
Kelsey is an inspiration to everyone who has fallen victim to the scale. Her post proves that the size of your pants and the pounds you weight ain’t nothin’ but numbers. What truly matters is how your body feels, and how you feel in your body. Follow her lead and toss weight goals and scales back with the old you!
