Quality for the community

At the foundation of the gym is a commitment to “quality.” Quality in their training, quality in their classes, quality in their equipment, and quality within their community. Classes and trainings come with a solid base and focus on biomechanic basics that are designed to get members moving as efficiently as possible and provide them with the knowledge they need to lift and workout properly on their own.

Whether the member is a ninja warrior in training or a senior recovering from a hip replacement, the equipment and the training can be adapted to fit their needs—making Quality Fitness a sustainable option for every member of the community.

THE GOAL IS TO BECOME THE ‘IT PLACE’ FOR QUALITY TRAINING IN OUR COMMUNITY. I WANT PEOPLE
TO SHOW UP HERE AND HOPEFULLY DRAW SOMETHING FROM WHAT THEY’RE LEARNING IN CLASSES
OR WHAT THEY’RE LEARNING IN PERSONAL TRAINING THAT THEY CAN THEN USE ON THEIR OWN.

Stepping out from the crowd

To be a super studio/gym in a community full of competition you need to do something to stand out and be different from the big box gyms around the corner. For Quality Fitness Mukilteo, they looked for equipment that not only offered a great workout experience but something that was unique and differentiating for their brand.

They decided to lead the way for green fitness in the Pacific Northwest by incorporating ECO-POWR™ energy-producing cardio equipment and the SA WELL+™ system for their members. Not only is the equipment different, it is different in a way that makes an impact and creates the potential for higher intensity workouts.

CLIENTS ARE LEARNING TO LOVE BOTH THE TRAINING AND THE EQUIPMENT HERE.
THEY’RE REALIZING THAT IT IS NEW AND DIFFERENT. THERE’S BEEN LOTS OF POSITIVE FEEDBACK,
ESPECIALLY WITH THE QUIETNESS AND SMOOTHNESS OF THE EQUIPMENT.

Members making the move

Green fitness is something new to most gym clients and provides a story for Dave and the staff to communicate to members and a new metric to use as a motivating tool to push hard. Beyond the green approach, members are loving the way the equipment elevates their workouts. With the non-motorized technology, Verde specifically, they have to focus on using their own bodies to generate the movement and love that they feel more exerted after their runs or pushes and they feel like they have received more out of their time.

NOT ALL CLIENTS HAVE CAUGHT ON TO THE GREEN WAVE YET, BUT THEY LOVE THE DIFFICULTY AND THE QUALITY OF THE WORKOUTS WITH THE NON-MOTORIZED TECHNOLOGY IN THE TREADMILLS VERSUS THE TRADITIONAL TREADMILLS. THEY LIKE THAT THEY ARE MOVING THE GROUND ON THE TREAD, NOT THE GROUND MOVING UNDERNEATH THEM AND I GET A LOT OF ‘WELL THIS IS INTERESTING’ WHEN THEY FIRST START.
