Brown University’s Nelson Fitness Center has taken a sustainable leap forward with the introduction of SportsArt’s innovative ECO-POWR™ equipment, thanks to the initiative of international student Elina Pipa. Inspired by her Climate Solutions class, Pipa led the charge to integrate eco-friendly fitness solutions into the campus gym.

Partnering with SportsArt, Brown University has transformed its fitness center into a hub of renewable energy generation. By harnessing human movement, these state-of-the-art cardio machines convert physical exertion to clean, usable electricity, aligning seamlessly with the university’s ethos of environmental responsibility.
